Anyone at any age can learn martial arts and reap the benefits it offers. Every older teen and adult coming in to train in martial arts, do so for many different reasons. For some, it is to learn self defense. For others, it is to relieve stress, get a good workout, socialize or just have fun and learn something new.
The great thing is that each student finds what they need and comes in to succeed for themselves. The workouts are fun and engaging. The students build core strength and work on developing better flexibility and balance. Karate also greatly improves coordination and endurance. Students develop stronger mind, body and spirit.
